I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you - Nobody - too?
Then there's a pair of us?
Don't tell! They'd advertise - you know!

How dreary - to be -  Somebody!
How public - like a Frog -
To tell one's name - the livelong June -
To an admiring Bog!

Emily Dickinson
1830-1886

At the time of her death in 1886 only about one per cent of her 1,775 known poems had been published. In 1955 an accurate edition finally appeared.
